After the success of last year’s competition, HIMSISFO COMPETITION 2011 will be held again this year from January 23 – Mei 22, 2011. The theme of the 2011 competition is “ReelAction – Raise Your Information and Technology Implementation in HIMSISFO COMPETITION”.

This theme is inspired by the action of a windmill where the wind is blowing harder it will be the faster moving the wheel and produce more energy. Therefore, it is expected that the more difficult cases faced by the participants, the more enthusiastic and eager also to find a best solution.

A nationwide competition with a total prize fund of IDR 24.000.000 is to encourage participants to develop skills and creativity through competitions organized by HIMSISFO each year.
The series of events opened with Show Your Talent, a competition to search for the best new talent across information system’s student in the arts of music, dance, and theater.

Seminar with  topic “How to Create Successful Software” delivered by Mr. Mico Wendy, CEO of PT Konsep Dot Net and CV Netmedia Komunika has also been held in March.
In April, two series of workshop (PHP Framework from Baba Studio and Photography by Mr Arbain Rambey) also was held at Binus University to raise information and technology implementation about website development and photography.

The core events of HIMSISFO COMPETITION 2011 such as Object Oriented Analysis Contest, Web Design Competition (For High School Students), Web Design and Development Competition, and Business Case Challenge is being held and the final will take place in May 2011.
The winner will be announce at HIMSISFO’s 7th anniversary celebration on May 13, 2011.

Various guest stars will enliven this event, including perform from Show Your Talent 2011 finalis, games and other exciting events to share happiness with others.
