The current year 2011 is coming to an end. It is the time of year, where we reflect in the year that has gone behind us, and look forward to the time ahead of us. As 2011 comes to a close and 2012 is on the horizon, it’s a perfect time to look back on what God has taught us over the previous year.
As I reflect on the year, reminiscing about the past year and all that happened, I realized it has been the best year! I thank God again and again for giving me all the opportunities I had!
2011 summed up was a productive year. I am happy to say that this year has been a great year. I have achieved some incredible things, learnt a lot, met some absolutely amazing people, built so many special wonderful friendships, and moved more towards being the best version of me. I am proud of what I have achieved.
As a way of saying goodbye to 2011, I’m going to highlight some of memorable moments from this year..

24.000.000++ IDR of prizes
Were held successfully by ONE SUPER TEAM , HIMSISFO COMPETITION 2011 committee. Proud to be part of HIMPUNAN MAHASISWA SISTEM INFORMASI (HIMSISFO)

ERP Class (March 2011)
I was accepted into Applied Enterprise Resource Planning specialization, where it’s only few students of Binusian 2013 that can apply for this specialization. It is really very interesting to learn SAP, a market leader in enterprise application software, a great and very expensive system.

LKMM XLII (July 2011)
A leadership training, designed to develop high performers and future leaders in organization by improving leadership capabilities, communication, and management skills. Presented by speakers from Binusian Leaders, such as Rector, Vice Rector, Dean, and other faculty member. It was very exciting to spent the holiday because I met many future leaders from different organization.

Buddy Coordinator Leader (July 2011)
Doing the best at every moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.

Core Board (Treasurer) of HIMSISFO (September 2011)
Serving as a leader is a great opportunity for a person to learn and grow. Yeah.. And I toke the chance.

Information System Laboratory Teaching Assistant
Well I finally passed all the test for teaching assistant… And of course, by the grace of God, I did! I love sharing knowledge with others and As Lao Tze said ‘you learned twice when you teach’. I hope working as a teaching assistant in March 2012 can be a lot of fun!
There is nothing to boast. Only a heart filled with thankfulness because I know I’ve not done it by my own strength. I can testify that God has answered my prayers.
New Year’s Resolution
Have you started thinking about 2012? New Year’s Resolutions are made with promises to ourselves to do better at certain things next year. We always find truth in the old saw “Failing to plan is planning to fail”
But for 2012, I resolve not to make a New Year’s resolution. It isn’t that I’m not striving to achieve something. But I heard this quote by Henry Moore and thought it was one to live by. So this year I will:
…think in terms of the day’s resolutions, not the year’s.
I choose not to live in wishing for things in the future. I set goals, and I strive for those goals, which will make my future what it will be, but I don’t sit here waiting and wishing for that future to happen, I instead choose to make it happen.
So what about 2012? What’s going to happen next?
The proof of expectation is preparation.
I’m looking forward to a new and challenging year ahead..
